Dear Mark, Jen, Matt, and Maggie.

I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts go out to you all. Lynne was such a great person, not only to me and my family, but to everyone she knew. I will never forget how much I hung out at your house. Lynne would french braid my hair, we'd go swimming at two rivers, and almost every Halloween we went trick-o-treating together. I am proud to say she was a huge part of my life while growing up. She will be missed greatly.

To Lynne's family,
I first met Lynne twenty some years ago when we worked at Orange Julius and after all those years, I met her again at a soccer game. Her grandson Tate played on my sons' team. I couldn't believe after all those years I ran into her again! It was nice to see her. She was such a nice person and alot of fun to be around. She will definitely be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family at this very difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to the Landen and Schellen families. Lynne was like a sister to me during our teenage years and I can't express how valuable and meaningful those times are in any person's life. She was a kind and sweet person and a true example of a good friend. Many of my most cherished memories are of Lynne and our lives at Riverside Lakes. She will be in my heart forever.

Michelle & Karly Brazda would like to pass along our deepest sympathy and prayers on the passing of Lynne Schellen. I would sit next to Lynne, Mark and Jen at nearly every volleyball game during the years our daughters played for Waterloo Jr./Sr. High School. She is in heaven now, an angel, sitting next to God. Lynne will be missed.

Wayne & Shirley-Dad shared this terribly sad news with me tonight and I just want to let you know that my prayers go out for the family. Although I never knew Lynne, from the words written by her friends, it sounds like she was quite the angel on Earth that she now is in Heaven. May you find peace during this difficult time and know we are with you in thought and prayer.

I just cant even begin to understand why this happened to such a beautiful person and family. Words cant express the sorrow. I knew Lynne for most of my life. Growing up, she was my second mom. I spent every weekend in the schellen household. I always loved talking to Lynne and all of the good advice she had for me and Jen. I will never forget how many pieces of toast she would eat in the morning, or how you could always find her with a french braid, a nebraska sweatshirt and cut off sweatpant shorts. We loved her very much and I will miss her tons. She will be one more angel to look over all of us.

To Lynne's family: I first met Lynne when I think I was about 16 years old through being long-time friends of the Schellen family. I liked her from the first time I met her. I laugh when I think back to the time I did meet her, and I "tagged along" with Mark and Lynne to a party, which was very nice of them to take me along. Lynne was always warm and friendly. I had always hoped her and I would get a chance to be a little closer. She has beautiful children as well, which is a true reflection on her as a mother and all of her love and dedication. I always admired her for being so open and willing to take any job she needed to on behalf of her family and their schedule. I'll never forget her stories of the paper route. My heart goes out to you all in your loss of Lynne and in a very heartfelt way, I am so sorry you had to say your good-byes, as it's so painfully difficult to do. She has a beautiful family though with great hearts and support for one another, and that is so important at this time. You all are like my second family, and I love you all very much.

While living at Riverside Lakes, Lynn and my daughter Kim were close friends. Lynn was frequently in our home and always welcome. I last saw her about 3 years ago and will keep that in my memory. At the time, she spoke with joy of her
family. The end of her life came far too soon. She will be missed by all.

There are no words to express the loss we all feel. Lynn was truley devoted to her family and friends. I will miss her advice and friendship and our almost weekly chats in the aisles of wal mart. My deepest sympathy along with love and prayers are with you all.
