Dear Frank, Shari, & Mike,
I don't know if you remember me, but I lived on your circle across from you when Willow Wood was 1st developed. My name is Christine Kyral-Flott. I use to play with Marla when we were kids (my sister Cheryl too). I had such great memories of my friendship time with Marla. We had a lot of fun! My mom (Carol) called me last night to tell me the bad news. My heart just broke! Even though I haven't seen her in many years, the great memories are still vivid. Please know that you all are in my thoughts & prayers. May you find strength in God through this terrible tragedy. Marla is in a wonderful new world & we will all meet her again some day. I probably had not seen Marla in 20 years, but when I heard the news it felt like yesterday. We wish to express our deep sympathy in the loss of Marla. When she was in Jr. High I used to ride my bike around the circle and many times she would ride with me. Sometimes she would quit after going around just the first half and then wait for me to come around from the other half. I would call her "half-track".
I didn't see her much in the following years, until last October when I started working at Hy-Vee. It was great to get to know her again. She even remembered the "half-track". She was a very great lady and will be missed by many.

I have been the Little's next door neighbor for only about 6 months, and in that short time, I could tell that Marla was one of the nicest, most genuine people I've ever met. I am blessed to have known her for that short amount of time. She loved her family. God Bless.

You do not know me personally, even though, we used to patronize Piccolo Florist when we lived in Omaha. I learned of your family's loss from my mother, Marilyn Gammel.
No one ever really knows just the "right words" to say to someone who has just suddenly lost a loved one. Probably because there just aren't the "right words" to say at such a very difficult time.
