Preceded in death by parents, brothers, sisters including Sr. Sharon Ekler, RSM Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her sisters of the Sisters of Mercy.
MASS OF CHRISTIN BURIAL: Tuesday, June 4, 10:30 a.m. at the Fogelstrom Chapel at Immanuel Village, 6757 Newport Ave. INTERMENT: Resurrection Cemetery. VIGIL SERVICE: Monday, June 3rd, 3 p.m. at the Fogelstrom Chapel.

After my first grade teacher, Sister Mary Sharon died, Sister del Rey started writing to me on a regular basis. We haven´t communicated for a few months, so I just found out she passed away.
I will miss her letters. Her funeral is on my birthday!
