Hi Valerie,
I just found out about your daughter Megan; and wanted to tell you how saddened for you and your family I was to hear of her passing. I met her once at Partylite's National Conference and spoke to her there. She was so sweet and very helpful!
My sister lost her daughter, Casie Lynn, in 2000 at the age of 15; and we understand your pain (Casie was like my daughter).
Please know we're praying for you and your family's peace, comfort, and healing. Thank you for sharing your daughter and videos with us!
Blessings and hugs,
Cathy D. Williams

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
Thank you for sharing the video of your daughter with us.

Valerie,
I forgot the name of your La Vie Cherie site tonight and was doing an online search and this popped up. The video is really touching and heartbreaking at the same time. I've experienced the loss of a loved one myself and I can only imagine how this season must be for your heart. I'm 27 years old...and this really spoke to me on so many levels. Your daughter was so gorgeous - what an amazing smile. I pray the Lord makes a way for your heart to find some rest in this season. Bless you....

Megan,
You changed my life. You made me fight and I wouldn't be here without you. I love you so very much.
Val,
I can't tell you how much I hurt for you. All I know is that Megan touched so many lives and will continue to do so even from heaven. I love you Val. You are like a second mom to me and I am so blessed to have you in my life and to have had Megan's in my life. God used both of you to bless me beyond my wildest dreams. I love you!

Dearest Valerie, after watching the video, I almost felt like I knew your daughter. Not personally, but at a much deeper level. It was obvious that she was a beautiful and caring woman...which I assume comes from having an amazing Mother that loved her dearly. My heart goes out to you and your family. You will be in prayers.

Valerie, Having "met you" many years ago, I am mindful of our conversation as to why you started your sticker business. Megan, even at a very young age, was a "designer" for you even then! I know your heart must be breaking and yet at the same time I feel you are thankful your daughter is no longer in pain. Please know that I am praying for you and will continue to pray for you in weeks to come. As I use your pretty stickers on my Longaberger mailings, I will say a prayer then, too! Blessings and sympathy to you and your family. Love, Geri

What a lovely video and memory. I know that your pain must be great. As a mother, I cannot imagine losing a child, as a breast cancer survivor, I know how tough it is to go through treatment, but when it is your child it must be far worse a journey. Something that carried me through my journey was that I didnt know why I was unduring this, but I knew that it was for a reason and that God uses everything that we go through for His purpose. I may never know why or for whom..but I know that it was all for God's purpose and His Glory! May you be blessed in knowing this. God used your precious Megan for His work and a Higher Purpose. As a customer of your products through my Homemade Gourmet products, I am blessed knowing that Megan's creative ideas are being used by so many to help so many lives in the home-based business. While we may never know why things happens, we are still glad they were there to make things happen in our life. People who are inspiring always leave such a huge mark on our lives. I think the best thing about never getting over a lost one, is to know that made such a mark on us that we can't let them go. I lost my husband 12-20-1996 (five days after our daughter's 3rd bday and 5 days before Christmas) and even though I am now again happily married I never have a day go by that I don't feel or think of him. Letting go is for the pain, memories are for the healing, and love is for the blessed. God never gives us more than we can bare.
She seemed so blessed and I appreciate the chance to get a glimpse of her. Thank you.
God Bless you and your family.

Valerie, My heart is SO saddened to have read the Sticking to Business e-mail today about Megan. My heart breaks for you. The only ONE that can comfort you at this time is God. Time is the only thing that heals the pain. I know what you are going through because my husband just lost his 24 year old son and I know the long healing process. There is a special bond between mothers and daughters and I can't imagine the loss you feel right now. Easter will never be the same again for you, or any holiday, for that matter. Rely on God and your family and friends that surround you at this time of sorrow. You do not know me, but I have placed SEVERAL orders with Sticking to Business and it has increased the attention to my Premier Designs jewelry business. Stickers especially are TONS of fun! You along with many of my sisters and daughters in the jewelry business are holding you and your family close in prayers at this time. If I could ever get my husband to fix the sound on my computer I would LOVE to hear Megan's voice on the video. Cherish that ALWAYS!!! The video will be saved on my computer so I can go back again and view it with sound. Just watching the video made me cry. I'm weeping with you! God Bless you and comfort you at this time. In Christian love, Brenna Jackson PS: My jewelry mom, Lora Ilari, is greeting Megan with open arms in heaven (I know). Lora loved your site too. She too will forever be missed.

Valarie,
It seems like only yesterday that you were displaying your "wares" in Columbus for the Longaberger convention....that had to be at my first BEE in 1989. As we both grew in our businesses...I placed many calls to Omaha to order, and Megan and I had many laughs...she seemed to think my suggested sticker ideas much too corney and would try others out on me. We had quite the conversation on her approaching 16 year old birthday when I explained to her it was a parents duty to buy the first wheels for their youngsters....She wanted me to explain this to you until I told her that my sons first wheels were 3 in number...she and I laughed over many conversations about that. When you went on-line....I continued to call in orders just to talk to Megan....She was not only an asset to your business and your life, but also a bright spot in my day.
I know she will be missed by every heart she touched. I will remember her fondly as she always put a smile on my face.
My prayers are with you at this time...
From my heart to yours,
Roberta

Val,
Although I never had the pleasure of talking to your daughter, by definition, she is one special girl. I admire the dedication you and she had to team up and run a fantastic business. I can't begin to imagine what life for you is like without Megan but it's very clear she will be loved and remembered until the end of time. I hope you and your family will find peace knowing that she is at peace. Thank you for inviting me to share in a piece of Megan's life and I wish for you and your family warmth and comfort going forward.

Valerie & Ryan: May God continue to provide you with the strength to deal with this immense loss. Val, I know you did everything you could, please take solace in knowing Megan is a rest and no longer in pain. I wish I could take the pain of your loss away, but since that is impossible, instead I will pray for God to strenghthen you and continue blessing you. You are an extraordinary woman. Ryan, be strong too, Mom will need your strength now more than ever. May God bless you both, and may Megan rest in peace.

Dear Valerie & Family,
It is only when we have lost in our own lives that we can truly say; I feel your loss. The words "I am so sorry" seem so shallow for Megan;a beautiful & extraordinary young girl.
As I write, I can hear the bells ringing in Heaven as the Angels welcome her home.
Although I have never met you Valerie or your daughter Megan; I feel as though I know you and with that in mind; I thank you for sharing Megan's life with ours.
With love & remembrance,
