Melissa McLeod

September 7, 1976 - October 8, 2024

Melissa Renee McLeod, 48, of Lincoln, passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2024. She was born on September 7, 1976, in Waverly, TN, to Jeff and Nicole (Adkins) Taylor.

Melissa dedicated 14 years of her career as a travel agent with American Express, served her community for four years at Glenwood Resource Center as a resident treatment worker, and then as an underwriter at Farmers Mutual of Nebraska for the past 11 years. She served as a club member in the Lincoln Flying Disc Golf club. Fellow teammate of Disc Gauntlet. She actively promoted and supported ladies disc golf events across the tri-state area. She found joy in activities such as disc golf, crochet, painting, photography, and traveling. Darlin Melissa was also known as Ant's Anam Cara, best friend, video game guru and fellow foodie. Melissa's family and friends will remember her forever as a loving wife, amazing friend, an advocate for all, and the most beautiful soul.

Melissa is survived by her loving husband, Anthoney "Ant" McLeod, whom she married on October 18, 2014; daughter, Bailey Taylor (and grandchild on the way); parents, Jeff and Nicole Taylor; brother, Ryan (Shanen) Taylor; sister, Brook (TM) Jensen; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for future designation are appreciated. Condolences online at www.bmlfh.com.
