Michael Sherman Obituary
Michael Robert Sherman, 74, passed away three weeks after being diagnosed with aggressive cancer. He grew up focused on Cornhusker Packing Co. and was immersed in the meatpacking industry. Mike was a strong, smart, humorous, stubborn guy who loved being a Grampy, made lifelong friends, and will be greatly missed by many. He could slaughter a cow as well as knit a sweater. Survived by wife, Patty; daughter Alison; daughter-in-law Susan; grandsons Isaac, Noah, Aaron; brothers, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. Preceded by son David. Service Sunday July 20, 1:30 p.m., Beth El Synagogue.

Patty,
I just read about Mike's sudden illness and death, and I offer my sympathies to you and your loved ones.
While I haven't seen the two of you in over 50 years, my childhood memories of Mike are very positive; he was a really nice guy and as Jann said (below), he was always nice to me.
I am so sorry for your loss. May his memory be for a blessing.

Dear Patty,
You and Mike had a relationship I admired from the time I met both of you in 10th grade. As years passed, I'd see you from time to time, and I'd smile inside knowing together for always is possible. I haven´t known Mike for long. A few months actually. I maintain his garden and grounds. He loved nature, he loved his environment, his dogs, his wife, Patty. He was so very kind. I will miss him greatly
