Preceded in death by husband, William A. Nelson. Survived by son, Clark D. Nelson (Eileen); daughters, Catherine A. Nelson, Mary J. Tollefson (Mike); four grandchildren: Brian and Nora Nelson, Anna and Alyssa Tollefson.
VISITATION with CDC guidelines: Monday, April 26th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday, April 27th at 10:30am at Lutheran Church of the Master, 2617 S. 114th Street. Interment: Pleasant Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Lutheran Church of the Master and Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Norma was my mom´s neighbor for many years. They had a friendship as well that in later years proved to be very helpful to my mom. These two friends kept each other safe and would call the other if something was not right in the neighborhood.
I had the pleasure of meeting Norma several times while helping my mom. She always had a smile and asked what I was doing. I remember at one time she said of my brother and I, "we were the lucky ones", meaning being adopted by our mom. She was such a kind, caring, genuine friend to us that I will never forget.
