Patricia Bishop Obituary
September 4, 1954 - July 20, 2024
Patricia Kay Bishop, 69. Beloved daughter, sister and friend. Patty was born to Robert and Marian Bishop in Omaha on September 4, 1954. She lived her entire life in Omaha. After graduating Omaha South High School in 1974 she attended training at Goodwill. Patty then started working at the University of Nebraska Medical Center as a volunteer where she gave more than 9,000 hours of her time between 1993 and 2009 in various areas of the hospital. Helping others was her passion. She also loved shopping, animals and dressing up for holidays. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marian Bishop and brother, David Bishop. Survived by many friends, cousins, aunts and uncles.
VISITATION: Friday August 2nd from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., at Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Chapel. INTERMENT SERVICE: at Hillcrest Cemetery following immediately.
In lieu of flowers, memorials requested to the Nebraska Humane Society or to the Omaha South Alumni Association.

Patty was such a special part of my life and I'm going to miss her dearly. She had the kindest heart and was always thinking of others. She had a true compassion and love for animals, having fun, getting dressed up for the holidays, going shopping, coloring and doing things for others. For anyone who knew Patty, loved Patty. I'm going to really miss Patty, for I truly loved how she brightened up my world. Until we meet again Patty, I'll be thinking of you and sending you my love, my beautiful and Dear Little Patty.

Patty and her family were huge part of my childhood I grew up on X St. Patty was like a big sister to me, and marion like another mom. I lost touch after I moved. May she rest in love.
