Pat was a dear friend and a wonderful piano teacher. I am sad that she has passed away for all the folks whose lives she touched. But I can´t help but be happy for her, and so blessed to know her. I´m sure she is delighted to be in heaven with her beloved Bernie, and to behold our Lord.
My sincere condolences to her family. Rest in peace Pat.

Pat was a bubbly smiling Aunt to me as I was growing up. I got to stay at her place a week during the summer and visit the big city of Omaha. Living on the farm in rural Nebraska staying with her in Omaha was a big deal. Their garden was the biggest on the block and so fun to watch her and Uncle Bern tend to it. My condolences to cousin´s Kim, Tim, Jeff, and Mary Beth, your mother was a gem! RIP Aunt Pat .

There was nothing better than walking into the office at St. Pius school and be greeted with the smiling face of Pat Kobza! She made everyone feel welcome in her very special, warm way. There was always a lot going on in that busy school office, and Pat handled it all with grace and skill. She never missed a beat! She will be missed by anyone who was lucky enough to meet her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rose Byam

I am flooded with memories of my childhood at St. Pius. Mrs. Kobza was the best to us kids - best hugs, best bandaid putter-onner, just the "mom" we needed during the school day! I can still see her warm smile and hear her greeting us each morning. Sending prayers to the family. RIP Mrs. Kobza

It brings a smile to my face seeing Pat´s name, and a tear in my eye knowing such a great lady has left us. She was such an inspiration to all who met her and truly a respected role model. She has positively impacted so many lives and was such a blessing to St.Pius.
Heaven gained a great angel.

Pat Kobza was a remarkable woman who loved her husband, her family her Parish.
She was the Best Secretary any Principle, Pastor would ever chose.
She welcomed every everyone who came to the office for the first time, she calmed the anxieties of all parents struggling with a problem, she energized so many people to help, dig in and make a commitment to St. Pius X.
And above all the times when Pat always made Me look Good!
Thanks, Pat! Love, Sr. Carolyn Foley, O.S.M.

My prayers and deepest sympathy to the Kobza Family. Pat was a delight. I knew her before, during and after I worked with her at St. Pius X/St. Leo School. She was a terrific first impression for the school and any parish committee she was involved with. Her enthusiasm could get anyone motivated. In our five years working directly together, we had so many fun and deep conversations. She and Bernie were one. Now they are again. Blessings on her and her family. I will never forget her laugh.

To Pat's dear family....she was one of the first people I met when i was first a substitute teacher at St. Pius...Oh what a help she was to me...she was also a sub for awhile and then became the very best secretary any school has ever had. She was our best public realtions person, greeting everyone with her contagious smile... she calmed down many a cranky or worried parent and also poured her kindness onto lots of kids who needed some TLC...She was just an integral part of that school and will be fondly remembered by so many...Jeannette Maxwell

Pat was such a beautiful sweet lady and the best neighbor anyone could have. I always enjoyed sitting down on the patio with her sharing stories about family, canning, gardening and good old recipes. She is going to be greatly missed.

Pat will be FOREVER remembered and LOVED by the entire St. Pius community. I am an alumni and cannot say enough on how very special this beautiful woman was. She was the glue that held the school together. She had the biggest heart, gave love to everyone she met and had the best hugs! She is now back with her love, Bernie. I will never forget them! My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Pat Kobza and her family were on my paper route. They lived one block from our home. Pat was so helpful to my family both as a neighbor and at Pius X grade school. Mom said her family was somehow related to us through the Bohemian side of the family. I would not be surprised. The family is in my prayers.

I am so sorry to see this. I met Pat when my kids attended St Pius/St Leo School. She was such a welcoming and friendly presence in the office. One of my favorite memories from those days was when the school fundraiser included a dance. The Macarena was popular at the time, and Pat was the first one on the dance floor and lead a group of us through the moves! Such a wonderful person of faith and dedication. My sympathy to the family.

When I think back to my childhood years, Mrs. Kobza always comes to mind. A wonderful family friend and a great piano teacher. I remember being rewarded with homemade dill pickles after my lesson was finished.
I unfortunately didnt keep up with piano, but I still love dill pickles. My thoughts and prayers are with Kim,Tim,Jeff and Maribeth.
