When I was in high school I had a nosebleed that lasted more than eight hours. Your late father cauterized inside the nostril and I've never had long-lasting nosebleeds since.

Your dad was my doctor when I was young and I loved going to him. He was the best. Then, later, as an adult, I got to know your mom, too. She was a wonderful lady. My sincere condolences for your loss.
