I went to LeflerMethodist and Madison school with the Woodwards. Sounds like Woody had a nice big family and many who loved him. It was good to hear from Sharon Risk and names from our past. My condolences to the family and Hi to those who grew up in the hood with me. I am Pam Rolfe Ash now living in Marietta, Ga

My heartfelt sympathy to LuAnn and family. I went to Madison Grade School with Woody, and he was a friend of my brother, Tom Risk. They started a "club" called the Falcons, and really had a lot of fun together! Woody was always so kind and friendly to everyone, even his friend's little sister. No wonder I had such a crush on him in 5th Grade!! We lost track of our grade school friends over the years but fate stepped in last December! Marcie volunteered to help with our grandson's (Ollie's Mission) annual toy drive. She introduced herself to me and of course, I was blown away to hear the connection. My brother & I, along with another classmate of theirs, Jael (Bland) Adams vowed to gather for lunch together with Woody and LuAnn as soon as Tom came back from Ohio this fall. With such sadness, we realize that won't happen now. Please know Woody is so well remembered, respected, and endeared to all of us. May God comfort you all in the journey ahead without him now. Hold on to the promises made by Jesus, we WILL be reunited. Much love, Sharon (Risk) Josoff
