October 4, 1926 - November 26, 2021

Of Council Bluffs. Phyllis retired from Iowa Power & Light as the secretary for the General Manager of the West Division after many years of service.

Preceded by parents, Caleb J. and Arietta J. (Shortridge) Nuzum; first husband, Donald Samson in 1968; daughter and son; sister, Lauretta Robertson in 2011; and stepson, Noran Davis, Jr. Phyllis is survived by her husband of 49 years, Noran L. Davis, Sr.; stepson, Bradford (Frances) Davis; stepdaughter, Melinda Bird, all of Council Bluffs; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and their families and many friends.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, 11am, at Saint John Lutheran Church. Interment: Cedar Lawn Cemetery. VISITATION with the family one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Saint John Lutheran Church or St. Croix Hospice.
