My brothers and I were recently reminising about the importance of the Borg family in our lives when we were youngsters living in Omaha. We are deeply saddened by the passing of Ray. All of the Borgs are the best ever! Joan Malm Hodges - Aurora, Colorado

I just received Ray's obit in the mail from my brother who lives in Omaha. Our dad, Carl Ostrom worked for Elmer Borg when he moved to Omaha. We went to Augustana Lutheran Church where the Borgs also attended. Our family, Ella, Elmer, Charles, Carl Robert and Ray used to spend time together years ago when we were young. About a month ago, I receieved an email from Cliff Malm where he and his siblings were discussing the Borgs and when they Googled Ray's name, the website www.gifford-park-assoc.org popped up and there was a photo of Elmer and the Montclair Garage. We wondered what happened to Ray and then came the obit. I will always remember the sadness around the time that Ray was a prisoner of war. To the family, I send my deepest sympathy and love.

To the Ray Borg family --

What a privilege it was to meet and spend a little time with your father. Such a loving and gentle man. It was an honor to get to hear just a little of what he experienced as a war veteran. I was speechless and brought to tears.

My heart grieves with yours for this somewhat sudden loss. I pray you have many wonderful memories to cherish as you continue to mourn through this time.
May the Lord grant you extra comfort.

In love and remembrance,
Joan Eledge,
