Brown, Richard Rodney Sr.

January 26, 1957 - May 9, 2023

Richard was born in Omaha, NE to Freddie and June Marie. He was the third of eight children. He was preceded in death by sister, June Rose; mother, June Marie; brothers, Ernest and Raymond. Survived by wife, Sharon; children, Richard Jr., Shalunda, Christopher; siblings, Freddie Jean Shelton, Freddie Brown Jr., Edward Brown; dad, Freddie Brown Sr; granddaughter, Kennice Reeves; Michael Simmons and a host of other family and friends.

He was a loving and kind man. There wasn't anyone he didn't like; he could strike up a conversation with everyone. He would help anyone in need.

VISITATION: Thursday, May 18, 6-8pm, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, May 19, 11am, at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, 5501 N 50th St., Omaha, NE. Burial at Graceland Park Cemetery.
