Richard Delaney Obituary
Aug 29, 1927 - Jan 11, 2014
Rich passed away peacefully after a long illness on Saturday, January 11th, surrounded by family. He served in the Armed Services during World War II and the Korean War. Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Minnie Delaney, and sister, Mary Jane Spangler. Survived by wife of 61 years, Marguerite Delaney; children: Cathy Lorenz (Steve), Ed Delaney (Diane), John Delaney (Diane), and Carol Kuzelka (Steve), all of Omaha; 8 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Holy Name Parish or St. Robert Bellarmine Parish.
VISITATION begins Tuesday, 6pm at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, with VIGIL SERVICE to follow at 7pm at the church. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Wednesday, 10:30am, St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. HEAFEY-HEAFEY-HOFFMANN
