Paul & family,
Words cannot express my sympathies for your loss. Unfortunately, the Rita I grew to know & love was not the same person you all knew.
While helping to prepare for the funeral, I went through hundreds of photos & heard dozens of stories. I'm sad I wasn't able to make any memories with her, but feel as though I knew her through your family. She truly was an incredible and inspirational person.
The unbelievable bond you have for each other & for your faith is a rare & priceless gift. The devotion you all had for her was astounding. I can see she passed down many of those admirable traits to all of you.
I hope the fond memories you have fill your hearts with joy each passing day. I'm so blessed to have all of you in my life. You continue to be in my thoughts & prayers.
God Bless,
Brenda

I have such wonderful memories. The "Cousins" sat many nights with Aunt Rita, when she worked the "counter". We drove her crazy teasing her about letters she got from "Uncle Paul". We read them when we could get a quick peek if she had to wait on a customer. We had so much fun and it will stay in my memory forever.
To all of her wonderful children and to you Ucle Paul thanks for gjving her such wonderful care. Love to you all.

My sincere condolences to paul and family. I moved to 25th street in l977 and Paul and Rita lived 2 houses from me. My first contact was when Rita came with a gift for my new baby and welcomed me to the neighborhood and St. Ann's Parish. Rita was a beautiful person, and they were wonderful neighbors and fellow parishoners. She now has eternal happiness with the Lord.

Do not stand by my grave and weep
I am not there I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
As you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight
I am the soft star that shines at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there, I did not die
