Age 81
Robert "Bob" Lee Carsten, of Missouri Valley, IA, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. Bob is survived by his brother, Gerald "Jerry" (Peggy) Carsten of Whiting, IA; his children, Julie (Douglas) Andersen of Missouri Valley, IA; Chet (Dorothy) Carsten of Pueblo West, CO; and Valerie (Jay) Delong of Modale, IA, as well as 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Bob and Peggie's ashes are being placed together at 10am Monday, May 24, 2021, at Westlawn - Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha, NE.

I worked with Bob at MUD in Omaha. I so enjoyed working with him. Bob was always happy and he always had a positive attitude. My condolences to Bob and Pegs family.

I worked with Bob for many years. He was a good man and a great friend. We took many bike rides together, one time we took the Wabash trail because we were told there was a great restaurant, only to find it closed. Another time we rode to Valley, got caught in a downpour, so we stopped in the Dairy Queen and they told us we had to leave because we were getting the floor wet!! Lots of good memories! God bless him.
