June 3, 1934 - February 28, 2023
Longtime manager at Sears at the Crossroads Mall and Mall of the Bluffs in Council Bluffs.
Preceded in death by parents, William and Cleta; sister, Nan Gay Dugas. Survived by wife, Sherrill; daughters, Robi Overhue (Frank), Shari Dvorak (Tom); grandchildren, Daniel Dvorak (Amanda), Shala Blake (Greg), Trent and Travis Overhue (Emily); 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Etta Derr; nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Sunday, March 5th, from 2-4pm, at West Center Chapel. FUNERAL: Monday, March 6th, 11am, at FaithWestwood United Methodist Church (4814 Oaks Ln). Memorials are suggested to the church.

I´m part of 3 guys that played golf at Elmwood with Bob and enjoyed lunches at Tiger Toms for many years. What I remember most was Bobs great laugh.

Bob had such a special place with the group of girls who graduated from Sulphur High School in the class of '56. He would wait patiently while we talked and talked and always had that sweet smile on his face. We all loved him and were so glad Sherrill found him all those years ago in D.C.
