Survived by wife, Wava (Pauli) Sorenson, Council Bluffs; daughters, Dorthea M. (Howard) Rau, St. Louis, MO., Kathy A. (Jim) Carroll, Arvada, CO; sons, Robert E. (Marleen) Sorenson, Omaha, Richard D. (Bonnie) Sorenson, Phoenix, AZ; 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; stepdaughters, Barbara (Gary) Woods, Julie (Ron) Stueve all Council Bluffs; stepson, Chuck (Peggy) Hyde, Adel, IA; many nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL SERVICE, Tuesday, 10:30am Saint John Lutheran Church, 633 Willow Ave. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery. VISITATION with the family, Monday, 6-8pm at Cutler-O'Neill Funeral Home. Memorials to Saint John Lutheran Church preferred. CUTLER-O'NEILL-MEYER-WOODRING

I am so glad that the two of you had so many happy years together and hope that your fond memories will help you through this very difficult time. I have good memories of my cousin Bob from many years ago. He used to come and fix our TV when it went on the blink. My mother Elsie Sorenson Olson was a sister to Bob's dad Peter. Plese accept my sincere sympathy at your great loss.
