I meet my husband thru Ron, who was one of my bosses at Brandeis, and my husband was a friend of his. We recently had lunch with him, and he enjoyed it, he said let's do this again, but when we arranged another lunch date , he called and said he couldn't make it, he was sick. So we tried later called him several times never received a call back. Our sympathy and prayers go out to all the shilling family, he was such a nice and fun person,we know he will be missed greatly, we will keep him in our thoughts and prayers. With deepest sympathy.

"Uncle" Ron's Passing Is PARTICULARLY SAD To Me... My Memories Of Him Go Back To The Mid-50s, When We (MY Parents & A 4yr-Old Me) Would "Have Company" With Ron, Bonnie, And 4yr-Old Mark, On A Saturday Night Of "Card Playing"... "Pinochle" I Think... A "Tradition" That Carried On From The "DownTown Neighborhoods", To Our Homes DIRECTLY Across From Each Other On "Calhoun St" In Bellevue, And To Various Homes In "Keystone"...
Others Here Have Noted "Uncle" Ron's *Sense Of Humour*... I'm Here To *AFFIRM* It, And To ADD That *I* ALWAYS LIKED "Being In Ron's *PRESENCE*"; And Am SORELY CRESTFALLEN That I NEVER Will Be Again...

To all the Shilling Family,
Ron was more like a brother to me not a brother-in-law. From the time I came into the family he treated me like he knew me all my life. We spent a lot of time hunting together and I will never forget what he meant to me.
May you rest in the peace of Christ Ron,
Mark Lister

Clint,
One can't help but smile when thinking of your Dad. All the Shillings are in our thoughts and prayers. Nebraska lost a big football fan this week.

I have known Ron my whole life and he was a great man. If ever you needed something, he was there for you. He was there with me when I shot my first deer and now he will be with me for every one from now on. Thoughts and prayers to him and all his family. Miss and love you Ron!
