Preceded in death by her husband, John Verzani; daughter-in-law, Catherine Verzani; parents, Rex and Margaret Fessenden; brothers, Jack and William Fessenden; sister, Joan Cosgrove.

Survived by her son, Chris Verzani of Plover, WI; daughter, Amy (Dennis) Allaman of Pleasant Hill, Mo.; son, Bill Verzani of Springfield, Va.; son, Nick (Tegan) Verzani of Leawood, Kan.; and daughter, Kelly (Joe) Smith of Omaha, Neb.; grandchildren, Christopher, Mason, Devin and Shannen Allaman, Jamie and Willa Verzani, Ava and Cael Verzani, Dominic, Alex and Julianna Smith; many beloved former neighbors and friends; and her friends at Village of Shalom.

Memorials to Catholic Community Hospice, 16201 W. 95th Street, Suite 220, Lenexa, KS 66219.

Funeral to be held at Saint Margaret Mary's Church, Omaha, Neb., at 10:30 a.m. on October 17, 2025. Inurnment to be held at Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa, on October 18, 2025.
