Scottsdale, AZ. Passed away September 27, 2012, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Preceded in death by husband, Arthur; and sisters, Geraldine and Kathryn; and brother, Lyman McIntyre, Jr. Celeste, as she was known, was born in Reinbeck, Iowa on June 26, 1916, to Ruby and Lyman McIntyre. She is survived by her children, Fred Grossman (Carol), Janet Howard (Jim) and Margaret Hennig; grandchildren, Phil Grossman, Gregg Grossman (Michelle), Gail Wiley (Scott), Jamie Howard (Courtney), Joe Howard (Jenna), Jennifer Tomasovitch (Peter), Celeste Barlow (Chris), and Rob Hennig; great grandchildren, Jake Wiley; Jason and Jonah Howard; Jaycee, Chris, and Jordan Howard; Ruby and Henry Tomasovitch; and Kathryn Barlow. Celeste cared deeply for her family and always kept track of their activities. She was an excellent homemaker, cook and seamstress. In Omaha, she was active in TTT a philanthropic organization and a member of Mt. View Presbyterian Church. In Prescott, AZ she was an active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Celeste loved "the cabin " at Pequot Lakes, Minnesota. She moved to Prescott in 2002, and later to Scottsdale, AZ.
SERVICES 11am, Saturday, October 20 at Forest Lawn Chapel, Omaha, NE, Officiant, Rev. Dr. J. Keith Cook. Donations may be made to The Celeste Grossman Scholarship Fund at Trinity Christian Preschool, 630 Park Ave., Prescott, AZ. 86303.
