Sandra Cox Obituary

Cox, Sandra "Sandy" Aloyce

May 11, 1935 - January 16, 2024

Sandy "Goose" Cox, 88 of Papillion, NE, went to be with her Lord, January 16, 2024, at Hillcrest Shadow Lake, Papillion, NE. Sandra was born May 11, 1935 in Omaha, NE. She was married to childhood sweetheart, Jack Cox, until his passing. She worked for Swanson until retirement. Her priorities were her faith and family- whom she cherished spending time with. Her commitment to God was an inspiration to all who knew her. She always had a smile on her face and her laughter was contagious. She enjoyed playing both the accordion and the piano, going to the movies, and eating lots of sweet treats and popcorn. She was an amazing woman and will be sorely missed by many.

Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jack Cox, step brother Gary Ragoss, sister Janece Gleason, brother Vernon Jones. Survived by children Terri (Tom) Martin of Topeka, KS, Scott (Sharyel) Cox, Lori (Russ) Running, and Kelli (Steve) Lucas; brother Lynn Jones; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A private CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held on April 13, for family and friends at a location to be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nebraska Humane Society.
