Fr. Golik,
I am very saddened with the loss of a very good friend. You had many, many friends in many parishes.
Years back, you were a guest at my parents farm, Joe and Katarina Salic, of Minnesota, formerly of Omaha. I, John and the children were also there at the same time.
You said mass every morning for the week that you were a guest at St. Mary's Church in Winnebago, MN.
We will miss you very, very much. You were a very, fine Priest and a very good friend.

We are sad you are gone but know your're in heaven reuniting with your friend, my grandmother,in your eternal home with our Lord. You dedicated your life and service to our Lord.I remember seeing you driving in Omaha, during my young career days. I figured you were going to one of the nursing homes to visit our sick.I am so happy we had your priesthood celebration in your honor this summer. You labored in love to do God's will and your passing was on Labor Day.

Fr. Golik will certainly be missed. He was a strong and devoted servant to God and His Church, and I will forever cherish the letters that he sent to me and my family over the years. His letters oozed passion, and he somehow wrote his accent into each word! Priceless!
No one delivered a Homily like Fr. Golik - and you didn't have to attend Mass to hear one!
He will be missed.

I would like to wish condolences from our entire family to a great priest, relative, and Croatian countryman –Fr. Stanislaus Golik. He had a significant impact on this world with his influence and presence. I have many fond memories of Fr. Golik at family gatherings in St. David. I will never forget his unique accent and the many stories that he had to tell. The world has lost a great shepherd as he has returned to the house of the Father.

Father Golik was at St. Thomas More when I moved back tgo Omaha 20 years ago. Those of us who met him there at 6:10 daily Mass will always remember him for his faithfulness and his humor. We have been truly blessed. - Barbara Combs (STM)

On behalf of myself, my family and the Knights of Columbus, I would like to express our condolences.
Fr. Golik will be missed.
He will be remembered in a daily mass at St. Mary's Church in New Haven, CT where the Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by Fr. Michael J. McGivney.
If there is anything that we can help with, please do not hesitate to ask.

I was saddened today upon hearing of the passing of Fr. Golik. As pastor at St. Francis Cabrini, I can still see him studying his book of the Italian language before mass on sundays so the congregation might understand him better. My prayers are with you Father. God Bless.

Unforgetable, that's what Fr. Golic is to me. He taught us to play basketball in the fourth grade at Sts. Peter & Paul, using an instructional book which he could not read (he used just the illustrations), and a medicine-ball to teach us how to chest-pass. By eighth grade we were winning CYO city championships. God bless. May you rest in peace, good and faithful servant.

Our deepest sympathy for the passing of a extremely holy and blessed soul. Father Golic gave his all during every mass he celebrated. He lived to know, to serve and to love our God. We will pray for the repose of his soul and the family. God Rest His soul and those of the faithfully departed through the mercy of God may they rest in peace.

This man was a true priest, dedicating his life to prayer and to the church, even though he had to suffer many painful days because of his back, he kept serving the Lord. He is a true inspiration. Rest in peace Father.
