Stephen Scott Woods, age 38, of Omaha, NE., passed away on July 12, 2023. Stephen was born April 2, 1985 in Omaha to Morris and Cathy Woods and graduated from Millard West High School. Stephen was preceded in death by his paternal Grandfathers George H. Wenzel JR and Frank G. Woods, Maternal Grandparents Walter and Betty Kruse. Survived by his wife Ashley, daughters Keely and Vella, parents Morris and Cathy, sister Jessica and her fiancé Kurtis Moeller, nephew Kade, niece Natalia, Grandparents Earl and Charmaine Olson as well as Aunts, Uncles and many cousins. Steve, as he was called by many friends and family, enjoyed music, played the bass guitar and had a love of cars. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and loved rooting them on in their two latest Super Bowl wins. Steve also loved to be around children and animals. He loved his family dearly and he always wanted to make his daughters smile. He was a kind man with a big heart, and he will be greatly missed.
