My deepest sympathy in the loss of your father. I never did meet him, but saw many pictures of he and your Mother, with my Dad and Dorothy, and heard a lot of funny stories. Dad was so touched when Ted drove down to Falls City to surprise him on the 80th anniversary of the Auto Supply celebration. He was always referred to as Dad's best friend!

Harvey, Gary, and Penny,
My deepest sympathies on the passing of your dad.
While we see or talk to one another only occasionally anymore, I think of you often and the history between our families. This sad time brings back many happy memories. You have a great family; I'm sure Ted was proud of all of you.

The black type of an obituary seldom does justice to the story of one's life. And that is the case with Ted Perlman, whom I was honored and very privileged to call a good friend for the past 17 years.
Ted had a wonderful sense of humor and a knack of knowing when a friend needed to laugh to make a day better.
While he was a successful businessman, Ted felt his greatest achievement was the character of his three children. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren -- his eyes sparkled when he talked about them -- and so hopeful for his great-grandchildren.
He was a patriot who loved his country, state and community. He was a loyal and devoted fan of University of Nebraska-Lincoln sports, especially football and basketball.
He lived a long and good life with his beloved Roz at his side for 68 of those years.
Everyone whose life was touched by Ted Perlman is a better person for having known him.
I already miss him.
