Terrence Velasquez Obituary
May 21, 1942 - January 3, 2023
Born in Omaha, Terry passed peacefully at home there. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Christina; and parents, Tony And Marge. He is survived by his two children, Theresa (Scott) Braasch of Omaha, and Tyrell (Amber) Velasquez of Hickman, NE; and proud grandpa of 6 grandchildren. Terry was the oldest of four sisters and two brothers, and had a vast number of friends he will greatly miss. Terry was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corp and worked at Mutual of Omaha for over 35 years. His greatest pride was being the #1 fan of his kids and grandchildren.
MEMORIAL VISITATION: Friday, January 13th, 9:30am followed by a MEMORIAL MASS at 10:30am, at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church. Memorials suggested to the Dreamweaver Foundation.

Terry I will miss you so much. It was so nice having you as my "porch sitting" buddy while living at Grand Legacy. I enjoyed sharing stories about my life and learning all about yours, too! And, you always brought me a sandwich from Son´s of Italy whenever you went there. Rest in peace my friend.

Terry was my next door neighbor for at least 20 years. Terry, Bill Kallmer and I would go to breakfast at least once a year. We always enjoyed his stories. He will be greatly missed.

When we think of Terry, we will always remember his wonderful smile! I enjoyed getting to know both your mom & dad when we worked at Mutual of Omaha, as well as the times we spent together when Lowell was coaching Theresa´s softball team.
