Dan, I'm sorry to hear about your dad. He was a great guy! He always called me Francis. He will be sorely missed.

I was a young kid in the Trust Department when I met Tom Allen and Frank Lawson. They don't come any better than those two. My sincere sympathy to the Allen family.l

I am proud to say that Tom Allen was my uncle. He was a rare combination of being an excellent father, loving husband and a model business success. In addition, he enjoyed and shared a wealth of military history memories. Tom was very much the most interesting man I ever had the pleasure to know. His family were very blessed.

Goodbye old friend. People from the bank will remember that we ate lunch together at the Press Club virtually every day.

Mr. Allen was my uncle, married to my mother's sister.
He possessed a great mind and interest for Military history, and was an avid reader of novels related to the genre,
An avid football fan as well, a proponent of the running game, known as "Ground Chuck" for his aversion to the forward pass.
