Preceded in death by father, John; and nephew, Tim Brennan. Survived by wife, Debbie Kawa; children, Mike Kawa (Jaeme), B. J. Kawa (Jackie), all of Omaha, Jason Kawa (Stacy) of Papillion, NE, Jill Raderstorf (Tim) of Columbus, OH, and Joe Kawa of Omaha; mother, Irene Kawa of Ralston, NE; sister, Marilyn Brennan (Terry); brother, Jeff Kawa, all of Omaha; and 4 grandchildren, Harper Grace, Jaxson, Holden, and Griffin.
VISITATION begins Sunday 4pm at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 9602 "Q" St., with VIGIL SERVICE to follow at 7pm, also at the Church. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Monday 11am, St. Gerald Catholic Church. Inurnment, St. John Cemetery in Bellevue. Memorials to: Down Syndrome Alliance (D.S.A.) of the Midlands. HEAFEY-HEAFEY-HOFFMANN

I just heard of Tom's passing and my deepest sympathies and prayers for healing go out to all of Tom's family and friends. He was a wonderful friend to me and I will miss him dearly. Every moment spent around Tom was a wonderful moment and I will always have fond memories of those times. Rest in peace, Tom. And thanks for the memories.........
