Karen and Family,
I was so very sorry to learn of your loss. Tim was a very gifted person who put those gifts to use in many unique ways in advocating for the patients that he cared so deeply for.
It was a pleasure to have worked along-side of Tim for many years in our Hospice work. His knowledge of the English Language was amazing and many of his team members, myself included, were always astounded at his flair for unusual words which he used with such ease.
He will be missed by all who knew him as well as those who had the opportunity to work with him.
God is truly holding Tim in the Palm of His Hand.

Mr. McElroy was a classy man. He taught me a lot about how to treat people in his daily interactions with everyone. His kindness was only exceeded by his sense of humor - he loved to laugh. Thank you for sharing him with hospice and nursing homes and so many families.

Karen, Ian, Michael and Declan...words can´t express how sorry for your loss I am. Always one of the highlights of heading East was always meeting up with the cousins and their spouses and just sitting around for story telling and loads of laughter. I will treasure my memories of Tim forever. Love you all.

Working alongside Tim in Hospice was a highlight of my career!! Watching him interact with patients was a gift!! I called him Mac man!! He was always kind to everyone, talked about how wonderful his wife was and adored his kids! He lived his life fully and gave his heart to others!! He will be missed here and ushered into Heaven by the saints that have gone before him!!

Karen- words for you & the boys-
Tim had an amazing influence on my life- both in a professional & personal capacity. I am blessed to have known such a kind, caring individual who always had stories & laughter to share. He made the world a better place by all the good he did here. As he made his way to Heaven´s gate, I´m certain the line to greet him was very, very long. I send love & prayers to all of you; he will be missed.

I used to watch Tim interact with children in such a way that they responded to him and trusted him. He made them laugh and smile and I admired him so much for it. A calm, kind and sincere man. The world was a better place with him.
My deepest sympathy to the family. May God give you strength.
Love, Diane

I'm not sure how to sum up a lifetime of gratitude for Tim's kindness, humor and willingness to include his friend's annoying little sister who just wanted to hang with the big kids. But, like everyone lucky enough to know him even a little, I will miss him terribly, and often. I'm so very sorry, and sending my love to all the clan.
