RIEDER-William F., II, age 42 years, Omaha. Preceded in death by sister, Maria B. Rieder. Survived by parents, Emily Rieder and Bill Rieder; brother, John Rieder and wife, Lisa; nieces and nephew, MacKenzie, Megan and John, Jr.; special friends, Corey and Candace Woods.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Rieder Family. I am so shocked to here about Bills passing, I was best friends with his sister Mary; I still miss her so much everyday. I know he will be greatly missed also , I didn't know Bill as well as his sister, but I know he was a great person, and was so fun to be around. I will be praying for Gods comfort for you all.

I am sorry to here that Billy has passed on. He always was the one to make us laugh. He was trully a caring person. I had not seen him in years but I will always have memories of all of us hanging out after school and just enjoying life. Billy, you are part of my crew, you are one of my boys...
There aren't many warm summer nights that all of us were not hanging out.
You could always make me laugh, and you were always there for me, for everybody. You most definately left a thumb print on my soul.
I am a better person for knowing you and I miss you billy boy. To The Rieder family- It has been a true honor being in Billy's life. He touched many, I will never forget him. He will live on within us all.

Dear Rieder Family,

Billy was a very nice guy all though it has been a few years since I have seen him I can still remember his laugh, he was always making people smile I can still remember being a freshman at RHS and Bill and my Uncle Tony's other friends looking after me and my friends like big brothers. I would like to express my deepest sympathies to the Reider family. Billy was truly a beautiful person. I'm fortunate enough to have spent many many wonderful & memorable times with him. As I think about some of them it immediately brings a smile to my face. As Cory said, there will never be a time that the "Silly Billy" stories will become tiresome. The one I'm thinking about is " Billy's Nap Poolside" during my Birthday party @ Kim's parents. I'm sure they're are a few chuckles from anyone reading this that was present on that occasion. I am blessed & grateful to call him my friend! One last time Billy..... "Silly Billy tricks are for kids!"

To the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you at the time of your loss of Billy. I can't believe he is gone. It has been a while since I have seen him but he had always made me laugh when I was down. I will miss him dearly. I grew up with Billy, John, and Mary. Kevin called me today telling me what happened. You know its been a while since I saw or talked to Bill but my thoughts went back to when we would gather. Doing what we usually did. Frequently I or someone would call to make the room silent. We would all stop and listen. Some people didnt know, others did. We would listen to Billy heart. You could hear it. Bill allways had a legitimate caring for his friends. He would share our pain. He shared mine. Bills heart has gone silent. He was my friend and I will remember him.

Uncle Bill...
Dude, you were the "cool" uncle. Kenzie, Johnny & I could always talk to you about anything, especially as we got older. I'll always remember those summer swimming sessions and the times you drove us around in the bed of that old, red Ford Ranger pick-up you used to have. And although you won't get to hit up a Husker game with me next season, I know you'll still be there with me, cheering them on. I love you so much, and I'm going to miss you, the coolest uncle ever.

To the family of Bill, i was a classmate of Bills at Ralston High School along with Kevin Chader, Eric Hallett, Steve Hurd, Bernie Matuska.....I did run into Bill twice since high school - once at the french cafe where Bill was waiting tables, and the second time at a bar in Ralston. He was always a pleasure to be around. I'm honored to have known such a great man! I enjoyed our friendship. What a tragedy this is. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
