Preceded in death by husband, Faruk. Survived by son, Dr. Ali Akkoseoglu; daughter-in-law, Ayse Akkoseoglu; and grandchildren, Sinan Akkoseoglu and Suna (Dr. Cheyne) Horie.
Due to COVID-19, private family services were held. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.

I think of Yildiz as a great leader!! She was my boss at New Tower in the 80´s and ran such a great Buisness and was always a teacher!!! I loved working for her..& one more thing.. she was a beautiful lady!! I´m blessed she was in a very little part of my life that made a great impact!! Bless all her family during this sad time!!

Mrs. Akkoseoglu was my late grandmother´s hair stylist for many years. She was a wonderful lady and treated our family superbly. Her family is in our prayers.

Yildiz & I went to cosmetology school together. She was so much fun & the sweetest lady. She´d have a funny remark about something & whisper it to me & we´d laugh. I had seen her through the years at continuing Ed classes & visit.
I´m so sorry that you´ve lost a wonderful woman to that horrible disease. I was an Alz caregiver for years. My heart goes out to you.
