Beverly J. Judd

1930 - 2023

Beverly J. Judd, 93, of Sullivan Rd, Munnsville, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton. She was born in Danby, VT., on August 5, 1930, one of ten children of the late Arthur and Elvina (Wade) Reynolds. She received her education in Stockbridge Schools. She was married to Milton Trew, who predeceased her in 1963. On September 25, 1965, Beverly was united in marriage to Ernest E. Judd, and they spent 58 wonderful loving years together. When Beverly moved to NY from Vermont, she worked for Don Smith, doing homecare work and helped him take care of the farm. She later was employed by Oneida Limited doing piece work for 27 years until her retirement. Beverly loved attending dances and listening to Country music with her husband Ernest and his sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Howard Wilkinson. She was a follower of 'Double Chase', the mother and son band of Matt Chase and Thelma Gregory, since the early 1980's. Beverly also loved cardinals, collecting dolls, and especially spending precious time with her family at Sunday dinners, family gatherings and holidays. Beverly and Ernest treasured their delightful friends that they made over the years and will never forget the wonderful times they shared. Beverly also loved her Saint Bernard dog, named Shad. Beverly was a member of the Congregational Church of Munnsville. She is survived by her husband Ernest of 58 years, and many very special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, two sisters, and seven brothers. Friends are invited and may call at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 31 Cedar Street, Morrisville, NY 13408, on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 12 ' 2 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2 pm at the funeral home. Interment in Stockbridge Cemetery will follow.
