His smile, his laugh, his excitement to tell me the silliest things. Riding in the Porsche and BMW, making it a roller coaster ride. Telling me made-up stories but saying it with such authority, I believed it. Politics...we'd talk endlessly, watching the big events of the day. His love of music, Tinsley Ellis and The Warning, he called "his girls." His love of hot, spicy food and Rum Cake. Our trips to Florida and the unforgettable journey to London. His gentle kindness and caring heart. These are my memories of David, forever in my heart. If only..
