Many years we knew Harold and Carrie and what a nice couple. Harold was always into something outside of work such as CBS radios and especially his photography. He is the one we choose to take our wedding pics back in 1994 and he did great. We miss him and we miss you Carrie since we have been in Virginia now over 21 years. May the Lord be with each of you.

Ovaries I am so sorry to learn of Harold's passing. It came as such a shock. My brother Jeff and him were friends for a very long time. That is how I met him. He had the patience of a saint and never seemed to let anything bother him. He always was happy and.I don't think I ever saw him any other way. He was always trying to help my brother whenever he could even though it seemed at times to fall on deaf ears. Even though I never saw you both very often, I will miss your wonderful husband. My sincere sympathy to you and your family. God bless you and give you comfort and strength to help you at this very sad time in your life. Hugs, Bonney

So sorry to read of Mr. Mellen's passing. He invited me and members of our family to the Elk's Memorial Service where my father was one of the recently deceased members. I remember how kind he was and appreciative of the photos and memorablilia that we donated to the Elks in honor of our dad. He certainly was a kind and gentle man. Our deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

uncle HAM was a very special person. when you were down he would sit and talk about personal stuff or just ramble on about stuff that didnt mean nothing to the subject to get you out of the mood and make ya laugh. he was fun to be around at picnics and parties. he is a great soul that will be greatly missed.

I'm very saddened to hear of Ham going Silent Key. He taught me Morse Code and Radio theory when I was in high school in the late 1970s. He was a good man and had a strong work ethic and practical value system. He was very wise.

I was so sorry to hear of Harold's passing. Although he was 9 years my senior, Harold always took time with me when I was in Oneida for visits. Best memories include helping him deliver newspapers from South Willow Street; watching him and trying to be of assistance as he built model airplanes with gasoline motors that fasinated me as they flew; and him taking time with me when I was very young to introduce me to the pinball machines in a store by the railroad tracks. He always treated me in a very kind manner. He enjoyed teaching and helping others throughout his life. I will miss him. My prayers go out to his immediate family.
