Jacqueline W. Jaquay, 93 of S. Plymouth and most recently of the Lutheran CareCommunity, Clinton where she had been a resident since 2015, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023, at the Presbyterian Home for Central New York ' SNF.She was born July 31,1929 in Norwich a daughter of the late Charles F. and Muriel (White) Jaquay. She was a graduate of Hamilton Central School in 1947, Crouse Irving School Nursing in 1950 as a Registered Nurse and did post graduate studies at Boston Lying Hospital and worked there from 1954 to 1962, while receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Simmons College, Boston in 1960. Jacqueline then continued her career at Chenango Memorial Hospital from 1967 until her retirement in 1994.She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Hamilton.Surviving is her sister-in-law, Gladys Jaquay; nephew, Kevin Jaquay; nieces, Theresa (Nichols) Thurlow, Tammy (Geno) Cenci; grand nieces and nephews, Lauren (Frankie) Padula, Kallie Jaquay, Abagail and Sarah Thurlow, Emily and Rachel Cenci. She was predeceased by her brother Walter F. Jaquay on July 13, 2016.Graveside service will be held in the spring at Woodlawn Cemetery, Hamilton.There are no calling hours.Arrangements are being entrusted to the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 BroadSt., Hamilton, NY 13346Contributions in Jacqueline's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
