James Dibble Obituary

ONEIDA >> James E. Dibble, 67, of 364 Genesee St., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at his home.

He was born on Aug. 23, 1948, in Syracuse, the son of Walter and Anna Wisner Dibble. Jim was a graduate of Chittenango High School, Class of 1966.

Jim was an auto body technician for Romano Toyota in Syracuse for many years, retiring in 2011.

Surviving are a daughter, Melissa Dibble and her companion, Jason Robinovitz, of Florida; two sons, Scott Dibble and Mathew Dibble, of Texas; a grandson, Levi Robinovitz; a granddaughter, Lake Robinovitz; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Merry A. and Keith Kutil, of Chittenango, and Jean LaDuke, of Florida; his companion of 29 years, Sandra Dobs Vanderhoff, of Oneida; "special daughters" Kimberly Motyka and Jennifer Vanderhoff; his best canine friends, Buddy and Molly; and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ironside Funeral Home, Inc., 342 Main St., Oneida.
