Josephine A. SnyderCANASTOTA >> Josephine A. (Puccia) Snyder, 77, of Canastota, N.Y. passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Feb. 10, 2018 at the Grand. She was born Feb. 9, 1941 in Watertown, N.Y. The daughter of the late Angelo and Philistine Puccia. Jo is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Donald P. Snyder and her children, Donald P. (Kathleen) of Buffalo, Lisa (Michael) Slade of Syracuse, Michael (Theresa) of Canastota and Daniel (Mary) of Atlanta. Also survived by grandchildren Patrick and Joseph Snyder, Elizabeth Slade, Molly Campbell, Jessica (Frank) Slaunwhite, Emily and Katherine Snyder, Zachary Dillon and Daniel, Nicole and Jennifer Snyder. Jo is also survived by her sister, Eleanor (Jack) Caltabiano, brothers, Angelo (Benita) Puccia, Nelson Puccia, and Philip (Mary) Puccia and predeceased by her sister, Mary Swayze. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.Josephine was an active member of the St. Agatha Parish family as a Eucharistic Minister, a religious education instructor and an original perpetual adorer.Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Agatha's Church, 329 N Peterboro St., Canastota, N.Y. on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 at 10 a.m. Family will be present at the church at 9 a.m. for early visitationIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Health Foundation, Cardiac Services, 973 James St., Suite 250, Syracuse, N.Y. 13203.
