Although we haven't talked or seen eachother much in recent years, it was rare that a day went by that I did not think about you. I will never forget the great times we had together when I was growing up; watching Dallas, mowing the lawn, or eating ice cream. Still brings a smile to my face after all these years. Love you!

I am saddened to hear of Myrtles passing. I know she will be missed. I have always liked the following poem as it gives a peace that is hard to come by at a time of losing a loved one.

Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep by Mary Elizabeth Frye (1905 - 2004)
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
(Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!)
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
God Bless
Wanda Stevens

I enjoyed getting to know you through Holly... the emails and calls to the office. She adored and respected you; I know you meant so much to her. You have left her and her family with some amazing memories that I know will be cherished in the years to come. You are in my heart as I send your family my condolences and prayers.
