Robert C. Arnott

1938 - 2022

Robert Clarence Arnott of Verona, New York, age 83, passed away peacefully Saturday evening March 26, 2022 in the comfort of his home surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on October 11, 1938 in Oneida, New York and graduated from Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School in 1956. On November 4, 1961 Robert and Teresa M. Blake of Taberg were united in marriage at St. Patrick’s Church. Together the couple owned and operated Arnott’s Store in Verona for over forty years. Surviving are his beloved wife Teresa and their three daughters, Robin Arnott, Tamara (David) Rothstein and Teresa Arnott. He is also survived by five grandsons, one granddaughter, five great-grandchildren, four sister-in-laws, three brother-in-laws along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Florence (Patrick) Arnott and his sister Fay Hall. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 23 Front Street, Vernon, NY. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. immediately following calling hours at the funeral home. Burial will be private for the family in the Verona Cemetery, E. Main Street, Verona, NY. The family would like to thank the Verona Fire Department and the Hospice nurses for the compassion and great care they gave to Robert.
