Theodore J. "Ted" Hall

1945 - 2023

VERONA-Theodore J. 'Ted' Hall, 77, of Verona, passed away early Monday morning, April 3, 2023, under the care of hospice, in his home.Born in Canastota on August 10, 1945, he was the son of George and Edna Miller Hall. A lifelong resident of the area, Ted was a graduate of Canastota High School.Prior to his retirement, Ted was employed with Walmart in the maintenance department and had previously been employed by Earl Denny & Sons, drove tractor trailers, Gray of Syracuse and drove for Dad's Taxi. He was involved with the Oneida Pop Warner program winning various awards, including, Booster of the Year, Lifetime Membership Award, Achievement Award and the Senior Commissioned Award. Ted enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping in the Adirondacks with his family.Suriving are: one son, Theodore J. 'TJ' (Janet) Hall Jr. of Verona; a nephew who he raised as a son, Jason Hall of Las Vegas, NV; ten grandchildren, Amanda (Craig Person) Hall, Erika Hall Mazzella, Nathan (Yajaira) Hall, Zachary Hall, Joshua (Kayla Kissel) Hall, Hannah Hall, Lexie Holton, Lianna (Dan) Bennett, Rachel (Mark Horning) Brophy, William Pat (Jessica Verilli Duffy) Brophy; nineteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Hall of Oneida and Thomas (Kathy) Hall of East Syracuse and one sister-in-law, Patsy Hall of Oneida. He was predeceased by two sisters, Pamela Hall and Gloria Baker and two brothers, Jack Hall and Ronald Hall.Calling hours will be held 1-3PM, Saturday, April 8th, 2023, from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main Street, Oneida where a brief prayer service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation.
