Barbara Gearhart Obituary
A native of Winterville, GA, she was a daughter of the late Harvey Pruitt and Bonnie Pruitt Chandler and stepdaughter of the late Julius Chandler. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gene Pruitt and stepson, Jeff Gearhart.
Mrs. Gearhart was employed with First American Bank for many years and was a receptionist for several doctors in this area. She was also a faithful housewife and was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 1, from 6:00 until 8:00pm. No services are planned at this time.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Gearhart; son, Ken (Anne) Mauldin and their children, Luke and Landis Grace Mauldin, son, Charles "Keith" Mauldin; stepdaughter, Kathy Gearhart; step granddaughter, Michelle Gearhart; step great granddaughter, Brittany Baker; sister-in-law, Peggy Pruitt; aunt, May Bryant.
Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.

To the family of Barbara Gearhart, My heartfelt condolences go out to you. I am sure she will be missed by all that knew her and the memories will last forever in your heart and mind. I might add that the picture of her is very lovely. She is in Heaven and wishing that you miss her a little, but let her go for she is in the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ with no pain or suffering.
