Everyone who grew up in Mt. Carmel, IL in the 1950s and 1960s knew Dwight Douglas. He managed the city swimming pool and concession area and was game for a ping pong challenge at any time.
I also knew Dwight and Carol from Mt. Carmel High School. It was a pleasant surprise to reconnect with them in Athens, Ga.
