I have so many memories of not just Fay but the whole Searcy family. We all grew up together and became such good friends. I thought today about the time our two families stayed together that year at Jekyll Island and that funny thing that happened down by the riverfront in Savannah one year. Time changes things within our lives after our paths lead off in different directions but it can never take away the memories that we have made by knowing one another. I will always remember Fay and will continue to pray daily for the strength that you all will need. I love you all and am so sorry for this sad time that you all are going through.

Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.Thy kingdom come.Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us debts,as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil;for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.. Amen (matthew 6:9-13) Mom i write this to you because this is the last thing you and i read from the bible night after night. I love you and will miss you always. love your baby girl

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
