Patty and Family, With Jack's passing, our community has lost a treasured citizen who always had Oconee County in his heart. He was a wise man, intelligent, and caring. Jack was always pleasant to be around and his quick wit was always at hand. May God's love and grace be with each of you as you grieve your loss.

My most sincere condolences to the Curtis Family. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a guest of the Curtis farm for over 20 years, and as such, have shared many conversations with Jack. His sense of humor was sharp and his wisdom was demonstrated in every decision. I will always treasure the time shared with Jack and will miss his warm smile. The Curtis family will be remembered in my prayers during this time of sadness.

Patty, Alex and Nan, I was shaken to hear the news of Jacks passing and want you to know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. I can picture Jack driving a tractor aimlessly around in heaven pushing trails of gold. I will surely miss his endless stories and technical support questions around the farm.

Patty, Alex and Nan,
I was deeply saddened to read of Jack's passing today and extend my deepest sympathy for your loss. You always made me feel welcome at the "Iron Horse" and I have many fond and humorous memories hunting there over the years. Jack's sense of humor firing off a clip at sunrise on the opening morning of deer season still gives me a chuckle as it put all of us on alert in the woods. But mostly I appreciate the friendship the family showed me through my trials and tribulations is something I will always cherish. My thoughts and prayers remain with you and the family.

Dear Patty, I'm so sad to read of Jack's death. He was one of Ed's favorite people and I also enjoyed conversations with him over the years. Ed always loved bird hunting at your place with Jack and all the other guys. Jack was brilliant with an unequalled sense of humor. My thoughts are with you.

Ms. Curtis, Alex, Nan, and family,
Jack Curtis is perhaps the most successful man I had the pleasure of knowing personally. His community and professional involvement are representative of the value he held in those entities. His pride and generosity of sharing of his farm and property has been greatly appreciated by hundreds, including myself, by being a guest of the Curtis farm for years. His smile at the rewards of a successful hunt and intellectual input will be missed.
