Jim Peachey Obituary

Bonaire - Jim L. Peachey, 80, of Bonaire died Thursday January 27, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home followed by a time of visitation until 9 p.m. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Andersonville National Cemetery. Rev. Willie Taylor will officiate.
Mr. Peachey, a native of Burnett, Wisconsin was the son of the late Lawrence and Mayme Buckelmueller Peachey. His wife Josephine Miller Peachey and son Randy Peachey both preceded him in death. Mr. Peachey was retired from the US Air Force and later retired from Robins AFB where he was an engineer. He served in the 8th Air Force during WWII where his B-17 was shot down over Germany.
Survivors include his children: Susan Peachey, Pam Peachey, Danny Peachey all of Bonaire and Gary (Meg) Peachey of Chicago, IL. Daughter-in-law: Linda Gray Peachey of Rome. Grandchildren: Shannon Coleman Waller, Dr. Quinn Lawrence (Jennifer) Waller of Bozeman, Montana, Ryan Edward Waller, Sarah Lynne Peachey, Austin Gray Peachey, Laura Peachey, Miller Peachey, Griffin Peachey and Greer Peachey. Great grandchildren: Tara Waller, Cody Waller, Caitlin Waller and Colton Waller.
Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
