To the family of pop I didn't know him like you did. I only knew him for a very short while. In my short time of knowing him I loved him. He and your mom are wonderful people. Mom stood by his side every step of the way. Until he got weak he was there for her in every way he could be when she was in bed with her back he was at her bedside every time I went into the room. They had a great love the kind people dream of having. They were 2 people made for each other. My heart breaks for your loss he lived a great life...." Share your memories of him" (as often as you can.) chin up... it does get somewhat easier as time goes on. You are in my prayers and my thoughts may God bless you and your family. Carol,
I just talked to mom and she told me about your father. I am so sorry and your family will be in my prayers during this sad time. Your dad meant so much to my father. I wish that I had known him.

Charlie and Chad,
I had only met your father/grandfather once at the beach house on St. Simons. I know that you will have many memories of the times that you and your family have spent with him there. It has been a long and hard year for all of us, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
