Lake Bozman Obituary

Lake Bozman, 8, was granted his angel wings on May 1, 2015 after a long battle with leukemia. Through his battle, he became an inspiration for so many people. He accomplish many things in his life including being named the youngest honorary player of the Atlanta Hawks.

Funeral services will be Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Piedmont Church, 570 Piedmont Road, Marietta, GA. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 until 3:00 pm. Interment will be in Athens Memory Gardens.

Survivors include his parents, Anna Bozman and Travis Thompson; brother, Trindon Thompson; sister, Cambree Thompson; grandparents, Jim and Patricia Bozman and Joyce Elder; great grandparents, Candler Meadors and Joanne Meadors; uncle, Christopher Bozman; aunt, Rukiya Thompson. Lake was preceded in death by three brothers, Zion Thomas, Canaan Thomas and Aaron Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CURE Childhood Cancer, Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer or Be the Match.
