I FORMERLY WORKED AT ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL AS A PHYSICAL THERAPIST AIDE. THERE I HAD THE PLEASURE OF WORKING WITH MRS. LONG. SHE WILL ALWAYS BE MY MOST MEMORABLE PATIENT DUE TO HER OVERALL PRESENCE AND WILLINGNESS TO TRY HER BEST. IRONICALLY, ON 4-24-04, I TOOK OUT "THE HENRY FORD ERA" AND READ HER PERSONAL NOTE TO ME ON THE INSIDE. I HAD NO IDEA THAT SHE WAS TO PAST ON THAT DAY, THIS NOTICE ON THE INTERNET IS HOW I FOUND OUT. I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND HER FUNERAL PHYSICALLY, BUT MRS. LONG WILL ALWAYS AND FOREVER BE IN MY HEART.

PAM, YOU AND THE OTHER CAREGIVERS ARE ALSO IN MY PRAYERS.

MAY GOD OR YOUR HIGHER POWERS BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU!!!!!

To be remembered for unselfish giving is truly a high honor. Lucy gave all of her life, through her teaching, to her community, her church. She made a difference in our world. Thank you Lucy, we love you.

I had the pleasure of actually being a friend of Lucy and her husband Dr. Leslie Long. She was a true lady in every sense of the word, and it was a real honor to be a friend of her's . She really treated my Mom and I very classy which she was, and I will truly miss those days I knew her from the Henry Ford Estate.

Thank you dear lady for your kindness when my mom and I visited your home.
