Mary Roach Obituary

Commerce - Mary M. Roach, age 95, of Commerce, died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Roach was the daughter of the late John Andy and Elizabeth Youngblood Moore. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roach was preceded in death by her husband, James Nelson Roach.
Mrs. Roach is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Carol Roach of Hull; granddaughter, Crystan Lynn Roach McElhannon of Athens; one great-granddaughter, Lillian Elizabeth McElhannon of Athens; niece, Mary Jo Moore Rapetti of Nashville, Tenn.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 3 p.m. from the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Derry Oliver, Rev. Verlin Reese, and M.J. Rapetti officiating. Interment will be in the Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6 to 9 p.m. Chris Surfleet, David Rapetti, Kevin Duchac, Tom Moore, Matthew Lance, and Kim Stephens will serve as pallbearers. Matthew Duchac will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, has charge of arrangements.
